Chuck was first elected in 1998 as mayor in a special election. He served as mayor from 1998-2004. After his term as mayor, Chuck then served on the city council for two terms in 2004-2008 and 2010-2014. In 2020, he was elected to serve his third term. Chuck is also the President of the Council since December 2020.
