FT Water/Wastewater Operator

The City of Dakota City is now accepting applications for a full-time Water/Wastewater Operator. The primary responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to: performs a variety of administrative, skilled, technical, and maintenance work in the operation, repair, maintenance, and replacement of City water and sanity sewer systems.

Interested applicants should have at a minimum of high school diploma or GED; one (1) year of experience relating to the operation, repair, and maintenance of municipal water/wastewater facilities; any equivalent combination of education and experience.

The work week will normally consist of 40 hours per week during the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. After hours callouts and being on-call every other weekend are a requirement too. Dakota City is an EEO employer.
